Well this all started the other day when I took my 2002 ford focus (zts mach edition) out and it was nice day, after a long blustery winter. I went to roll down the window and I hear this "click crack creek" sound comming from the door as I roll it rolls down. I believe it may be off track and I'm not quite sure how to fix this. Is this an easy situation to deal with, as im not adept at cars but mechanics im good at having worked with industrial mechinery for several years now. But if someone could give me a bit of guildance that would be great. How do I fix the power window on a 2002 ford focus?if it won't roll back up you will have to take the door panel off and check out what is going on before anyone can diagnose the problem. How do I fix the power window on a 2002 ford focus?Well if it fell off track you need to take off the door panel . Than you can see if it s off track or if its the motor if it s off track you can see how to put it back . If its the motor you will need to change itHow do I fix the power window on a 2002 ford focus?Try this before you try repairing it. It sounds like the window channels may be dry. Get some spray cylicon lube and spray the cloth guides on both sides of the window. If this doesn't stop the noise, you will need to take the inside door panel off and see if the window is loose from the tract. If it is, there should be a clip or series of screws holding it in place and they will need to be tightened. Make sure to put a dab of grease on the window crank for smoother operation. It could also be the window motor wearing out. In this case I would take it to a mechanic and let them do it.
