In the DFW area what is the best ford dealership for good trade in values?

I am looking to buy an Ford edge, but I am trying to sell my 2001 tahoe so i can get more cash instead of taking it to a dealer, but I might end up just taking it to the dealership. What dealership in the DFW area is the best at giving a good trade in value?

ThanksIn the DFW area what is the best ford dealership for good trade in values?Although your Ford Edge isn't the best choice for that sized vehicle, that isn't my first concern for you if you are thinking of buying a new car.

You see, and you can verify this by shopping around the internet a little, new car dealers can get more profit off a buyers trade in than they could make on the sale itself, and the average profit on a trade in according to a recent article is @ $2,000, so a dealer who appears to be offering more than another dealer may be able to get more off you, the new car buyer, in financing or warranty upgrades or by selling you accessories you don't need and usually will cost more than if you got it done yourself, as all of these are big profit areas for dealers.

Now, to your choice of cars.

The Edge is still a car waiting for an upgrade it hasn't gotten yet, but the good news it there are some other vehicles that meet or exceed buyer expectations, vehicles like: The Nissan Murano and Toyota Venza are better choices. So are the Seven-passenger entries like the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Flex, Hyundai Veracruz and Mazda CX-9 as they all provide a higher value and more buyer satisfaction, not the low quality interior or dash of your first choice, the Edge.
