Can i unlock my steering wheel to my 98 ford escort without my keys?

I lost my keys to my 98 ford escort zx2. I can get into the car with the remote and i have a way of starting i, but i cant get the steering wheel unlocked. Is there a way to unlock the steering wheel without a key?Can i unlock my steering wheel to my 98 ford escort without my keys?The ignition cylinder locks the steering wheel in place as a security feature. You'll have to remove the cylinder completely. Just make sure you don't trip the security ignition interlock system (if if has one). That would cut off the fuel pump. And then you'll have a lot more explaining to do ;)
