What are some easy car modifications for a '96 Ford Contour?

I bought a 4-door '96 Ford Contour not long ago and I already put in a new deck, speakers, sub, and amp. Im getting my windows tinted tomorrow and I was wondering if there were any other cheap or easy modifications I could do that will affect the performance or appearance of my car.What are some easy car modifications for a '96 Ford Contour?Stephen, my best advice is to join the Contour enthusiast group. get an un standard air filter, and some arches also side skirts nice bumpers and leads also get some mud flaps that dont look standard or silly :)

I would leave it the way it is, maybe add things to make it more comfortable of a ride. If it rattles on the freeway, you can get a roll of dynamat and put it in behind the door cards, in the dash, under the carpets, etc, to reduce road noise and vibrations. But seriously, that car will not respond to performance modifications--you will end up spending a lot to make just a little power or suspension improvements. And please don't go off of what product manufacturers say about horsepower gains from their products--they are grossly overstated and not regulated or checked for accuracy.What are some easy car modifications for a '96 Ford Contour?
not a very sporty car but u could get a new air filter like k%26amp;n. hid headlights are the other easy upgrade u could do but i would waste too much money on a contour.What are some easy car modifications for a '96 Ford Contour?Turbo charge it, Roush sells a good supercharger setups for Ford v-8 but that will set you back over $5000. but they do warranty there product. An extra 150 hp will wake your car up! Nothing will satisfy you such as air intake or duel exhaust although you will get a little better millage and some sound. you will never get the money back if you put performance mods on this car just to let you know but if you don't care then you can try this but i don't know how much of a difference it will make with your make and model of car:



AEM cold air intake

halo projector headlights

AIT bodykit (or any manufacturers body kit, i just like AIT)

Euro tail lights

Blacklights in the interior

aftermarket wheels and tires

aftermarket exhaust (try flowmaster or magnaflow)

again i dont suggest it but its your car and money so have fun with it!
