I have a Ford Backhoe 755 from the early 80's, and I'm trying to figure out how to change the damn engine oil. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it!How do I change the engine oil of my 755 Ford Backhoe?Hi
Doesn't the engine oil share oil with the direction reverser? How do I change the engine oil of my 755 Ford Backhoe?Every muliti cylinder engine I've worked on from 1954 to 2008 on has a drain at the bottom of the oil pan and fill at the valve cover, this includes my Dad's Fordson Super-Major tractor. The oil drain is always at the bottom to flush the oil pan of any debris that may have accumulated. You should also have a dip stick on the block, most likely on the same side as the oil filter to ensure you have added enough oil back in. Be sure to crank it a few times after an oil and filter change and check the oil level again in case there was air in the oil lines after the change.
Here is I site I found to collaborate my experience: http://www.ehow.com/how_5114970_change-d鈥?/a>
Be mindful companies like Ford prefer to make as few parts as possible to save money, so designs and parts often cross model lines - this info should be good for a Ford 755
