or a Google search for remanufactured engines

or look in the yellow pages for auto machine shopsWhere can I find a cheap 360 engine for my 1970 Ford F250 in the Los Angeles to Barstow CA area? You can also expand your search a little by including a 332, 352, 360, 390, 406, 410, 427, 428. These are externally pretty much identical FE series big block Ford engines which wil bolt in and most were used in full size cars as well as trucks.

With a North American 18 year spread from 1958-1976, there ought to be a few of them still available that haven't become victims of the high scrap iron prices. If worse comes to worse, I suspect they are still available from engine re-builder outlets as a short or long block.

Good luck.
