How do i remove air from a radiator system for a ford aerostar van?

i own a 1996 ford aerostar van, 3.0 ,4 cylinder. The radiator is full but still tends to overheat,we replaced the bad sender hose,but we don't how to manually purge the system of air, if that is the case,just looking for tips or helpful info.How do i remove air from a radiator system for a ford aerostar van?there's no real trick to filling a cooling system on most cars. Start the car and let it idle, and fill the radiator with the car running. Most of the time, the radiator will appear full for several seconds, then the level will drop down and you can add more water. Do this repeatedly until the car runs for a good 30 seconds without the level changing.
