Can any certified Ford mechanics help me with this question?

I need to know where to connect the white wire (with a wierd looking connector) that run next to hot wire and leads to the starter. I have a 1997 Ford Taurus 3.0L DOHC 24 valve V-TECH engine. I replaced the starter a few days ago and can not get the car to start. Their seems to be no power drainage from the battery when I turn the lights on and start the car. Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. Can any certified Ford mechanics help me with this question? They changed the way I went on . Used to be an eye connector and they went to blade connector . You probably need the little piece that bolts onto the starter that the blade plugs into . Should be $1 or less . When you get a rebuilt starter they can be missing . And this would go on the solenoid right stud next to the big wire connection .
