James Patterson Fans: Who would you recommend?

Hey all,



I have pretty much read every james patterson book there is. I am also a big fan of tess gerritsen and jodi picoult. I am looking for a new author to start reading. I like murder mysteries with some suspense... and some romance isn't bad either. It doesn't have to be over the top. Does anyone have any suggestions as to who I might read next?



I am not really into any nazi, war type of novels. I like modern fiction.
