Really need help to find this!!?

Trying to find the Title of a medical mystery.?

I don't know the author either. All I know is that is was already out by the time Gravity by Tess Gerritsen came out.



Anyway, what I remember from it is that the lead character pretty much explained paranormal events (psychic ability and ghosts, etc) from the idea that when someone died violently, particles of their brain that housed memory would scatter into the air. These particles would be ingested by people and if someone was tuned into it, they would "see" the memories imprinted on these particles.



Anyway, the idea was ingenious and I'd love to read it again.... if I can only find it!Really need help to find this!!?
you have really struck my interest in this, so i did a little searching and think it might be something by H.P. Blavatsky. i sure hope you find it because i will be checking back for any conformation of a title!! if not, im sure you could get lost in a google search of " violent death memory particles". i found some neat new stuff to read with the results, i hope, if nothing else, you do too!!
