im looking for some more books to read.my two favorite books of all time are All around the town by Mary Higgins Clark, The keepsake by Tess Gerritsen. i've read a lot by mary higgins clark so no more books by her. any books similar books like these? i love murder mysteries but open to other ones too (except romance blek!) i really like when some one in the book has like a psychological disorder like in all around the town because i like psychology. im only 14 so nothing like James Patterson or anthing gross like that. also nothing like twilight or any vampire ****Book suggestions for me?
Mary Higgins Clark has a daughter she writes with sometimes. Carole Higgins Clark has a series of her own as well as a series she writes with her mother. The writing styles are similar, but most of the ones you have read were probably stand alone stories rather than a series. I will read books by either author when I see a new one out.
I know you said no more Mary Higgins Clark but if you haven't read it you should definitely try "Two Little Girls in Blue". It is fantastic and very suspenseful. Also the ending/who the kidnapper turned out to be were very surprising.
Of course, if you read that book or if you are cussing me out right now for suggesting another Mary Higgins Clark, I have some other suggestions. What about The Devil's Arithmetic? I read it last year and it was really good. It was historical fiction but there were a couple of twists at the end. Then there's Premonitions by Jude Watson. It was a mystery and very good.
Hope I helped :)Book suggestions for me?
Try on some Dean Koontz! He has several(I own almost all of them) and they seem to fit your criteria. My favorite from him is Dragon Tears. Its not new so you could pick it up cheap. Mr. Murder was a good one by him too! The Frankenstein series was really good but its a series, you have to read all of them. Totally unrelated but interesting was the series called "Clan of the Cave Bear" of which I cant remember the artist but Google will retrieve that with the title. Hope I helped!
Dangerous Days: The Autobiography of a Photojournalist, and its sequel, Blades: The Autobiography of a Rescue-Helicopter Pilot, both by J. William Turner. Realistic fiction about teens in several dramatic life and death situations set in Australia, Canada, England and California during the years 1981-1982 and 1995-2001. Each is written as a series of four related stories (about 100 pages per story) inside a single cover dealing with teenage, adult and social themes. More info in GoogleBook suggestions for me?
This Is Your Brain on Music: The Science of a Human Obsession [Bargain Price]
There are questions that are too big for science; are there gods, for instance, or what is love? And maybe we will never fully find out scientifically why music does what it does and why we care about it so. But for many reasons, music ought to be a profitable subject for scientific enquiry.
