What are some good books I should read?

I like suspense and murder mystery, and some fantasy, but not this twilight crap. (I don't like harry potter either, but it's not crap so I won't call it that.)

My favorite author is tess gerritsen, so stuff like that. I also like Patricia Briggs.

Any suggestions?

Please and thank you! What are some good books I should read?

I really liked The Pact, by jodi picoult. It was about two people that grew up together and eventually started dating but when they decide to do a double suicide. One person stays alive but the other dies and it is about the trial if they guy commited murder. Its like one chapter is present and then the next is past. the past sections are told by the girl and the present is told by the guy. I really did like the book.

hope I helped :)What are some good books I should read?
ahha i love how you said no twilight abd people still suggest is, that book si crap anyway, its poorly written

mystery fantasy

greatest series,better than harry potter

"The gaurdians of time " trilogy. it'l be hard to read at first because of the tnese its written in but after the 1st or 2nd chapter its SOOOOO suspensfula dn exciting. the 1st chapter alone is liek " WHAT? WHAT HAPPENED? HUH? OMG REALLY?! its crazy. i couldn't put it down after that and beside harry potter, it was the only book i eagerly waited the next bok to come out

"and cirque du freak". read it before the movie coems out because its WAY better than the movie will be. the movie actually loosk not as good as the books read. its got vampires BUT, its not romantic and its dark and a whoel new spin on vampires and thers no mushy romance crap in it eaither. grealty written adn amazing imagry and points( haha he brigng up somethign like "yeah a stake through te heart will kiss up but so will a metal stake on teh foot or beign poisened" as if to say that the idea of a stake through the heart illign a vampire is a no breianger since it'll do the same to anyother person. adn the whole persepctive of the life of vampires is changed. i read this LONG before vampires become popular so i recomemnd it. its great!
