I am an avid reader and am coming to an end of several authors and their series. I am a fan of mystery/suspense/detective novels,

I have exhausted these source and looking for some new one. Any recommendations would be great.Need a new author. Help?
Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child %26lt;----you CAN NOT put this duo's books down. Yes, they wrote Relic but the book is way way scarier than the stinky movie. These guys define suspense. Check out Brimstone as your first one.



Daniel Silva%26lt;----Excellently written spy novels...none other compare. Try The Unlikely Spy or The Marching Season. You will be hooked.



For fun you may want to try James Rollins. He is more adventure/action but there is so much going on in his books you wont be able to stop reading. Think Clive Cussler for people with half a brain. I would say try Excavation.

Check out Dennis Lehane's novels. Joseph Wambaugh is an old master, and his nonfiction, especially "The Onion Field", is even more riveting than his fiction. A very good straight-out adventure novelist is Stephen Hunter, if that is to your liking.
NOT STEPHANIE MEYER. DEAR GOD. She writes the most unoriginal books ever "created." Hm...lemme think of the last time I saw a book involving a new girl (Mary Sue) in a small town who gets the guy (Gary Sue) and a happy ending results after some sort of brave act. Plus, the whole vampire romance thing. Hm. So original.Need a new author. Help?
