I've read FLowers in the Attic. It's a good book, but I tend to call it the 'classic' version of Sweet Valley High. It's farfetched and soap-opera-y, but enjoyable.Have you read any of these 3 books before?
I read a VC Andrews when I was 11 and thought it was dimestore crap literature then.



Crap books for people who don't want to think about what they are reading. Sorry, just my honest opinion.Have you read any of these 3 books before?

It's a good book.

As you can see from the above answer everyone either thinks it was a fantastic book or a failure. So my suggestion is to just read a little bit of it and see what you think before you buy the whole series!
